Odors are unpleasant molecules in a gas form that are dissolved in the air and picked up by our sense of smell or olfactory gland in the nasal cavity. The All Gone!^® disk absorbs these molecules and removes them from the air before they can be picked up by the nose.

One theory is that animals and humans developed a sense of smell to protect us from hazardous materials. We naturally lose our appetite when bad odors are present, which reduces the chance of eating something that has spoiled or contains bacteria, molds, and/or fungus. Most things that smell bad have biological or chemical contamination and are a danger to us.

Bacteria, molds and fungi can grow inside the home, on carpets, walls, ceilings, and get into the air your family breathes. Some varieties of bacteria, molds and fungi can cause serious health problems in young children, the elderly, and people who are receiving certain kinds of medical treatment. Cigarette smoke puts tiny particles, along with a variety of chemicals, into the air, causing your family to have more colds, asthma attacks, and statistics suggest the likelihood of getting cancer. Place an All Gone!^® disk in or near smoking areas to remove many of these chemicals.

The best way to prevent odors is to remove the source of odor or future sources as quickly as possible. The longer an odor source is exposed to the air the more odorous molecules enter the air. Keep your environments free of soil, moisture, impurities and other odor causing substances. For the odors you cannot prevent, place All Gone!^® as close to the odor source as possible, maintain airflow, and the problem is solved.

A good rule of thumb is to change your All Gone!^® disks with the change of the seasons. The activated carbon disks can hold a tremendous amount of odor so it is not unrealistic to use one for a 3-month period. If the disk has any detectable odor, this is an indication that it's full and needs to be changed. In a high odor content situation you may want to change your disk more frequently.

The contents of the All Gone!^® disk is activated carbon which is the same material that is used as the 'universal antidote'. It is placed in a person's stomach to absorb poisons when they have been ingested. Activated carbon is perfectly safe to have around children, pets, and the elderly. In addition it will not expel any chemicals into the air, which could be irritating to your family members.

Make a list of your odor sources. If the areas are small confined spaces within a 5' x 7' area one disk will do the job. Larger areas may require more than one disk.
